Amanda and Morgan take on a skydive for Demelza!

Over the last few years, I have had the privilege of attending some of the events organised by Demelza - a charity providing extraordinary care to children with serious or life-limiting conditions, and their families, across Kent, South East London and East Sussex. Demelza provides expert clinical care, emotional support and practical help to families, whenever and wherever they need it most.

At some of the Demelza events, I have been honoured to meet some of the families and children they support and it’s been incredible to hear them give their personal experiences of how the charity has been an invaluable help in their lives. So with the support and love of my children, Charlie, Isaac, Morgan and Harvey, I wanted to help in some way by raising vital funds to help support Demelza and its wonderful staff to continue supporting the families that rely on its facilities and care.

Skydiving seemed a great option, so I asked “ would anyone like to join me?” And much to my delight, one of my sons said “yes, let’s do it!” My other children will be supporting us from the ground which I am truly grateful for.
