I'm running the Brighton and London Marathons for Demelza
Having previously declared I would absolutely never run a marathon ever again and given up the ghost on the previous 5 failed sub-4hr marathon attempts, I have done what any sensible person would do and signed up for both Brighton and London Marathons in April 2027, just a couple of weeks apart.
More importantly I am hoping to raise money for an amazing charity. I know times are tough, but even a few quid can go a long way for a fantastic cause.
Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex. Were here for them and their families with expert clinical, emotional and practical support at every step from first diagnosis and for as long as were needed.
When they need us most, well be there; to reassure, to guide and to care. By their side when they feel isolated, helping to create joy in family life during challenging times and making precious memories.
Demelza believes in care that doesn't back down.
