I'm running the London Marathon for Demelza

Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex. Were here for them and their families with expert clinical, emotional and practical support at every step from first diagnosis and for as long as were needed.

When they need us most, well be there; to reassure, to guide and to care. By their side when they feel isolated, helping to create joy in family life during challenging times and making precious memories.

Demelza believes in care that doesn't back down.

I’m running the London Marathon for this amazing charity

I am so grateful for be offered a place to run for this amazing charity.
Our daughter was born in 1999 with a condition called penology of Canterral which needed many major operations to repair.We spent two years in Guy’s & St’Thomas hospital.Little after a year we were introduced to this amazing charity and the beautiful Katie who worked for Demelza she was an a absolute godsend as we also had our daughter twin brother to think about.She would come up every week to give me and my son a break away from the hospital .It was so nice to know that our daughter was in safe hands and having playful interaction.We carried on having Katie for the next couple of years at home as our daughter was oxygen dependent.It was a breath of fresh to know that I wasn’t stuck in the house.We will always be grateful to Demelza and Katie for the kindness they showed us over the couple of years we had the privilege of having them.So for this I will be running my little socks off for them.So please can you give deeply so this amazing charity can carry on do there amazing work for the families and children who lives they make a little easier in there darkness days.
