Fundraising

Is there a minimum sponsorship?

If you have signed up with a fundraising ticket then we ask that each individual could raise at least £15 towards Demelza, this can be done online through just giving or offline. 

If you signed up for a non fundraising ticket then there is no minimum sponsorship requirement for this event however, you are welcome to still fundraise for your bubble rush. 

Can i bring donations with me on the day?

Yes of course. We will have a donation station available with the information tent, located in the event village.

General

Can I change my wave number and start time on the day?

Your wave number and start time are set and cannot be altered on the day due to our maximum capacity for health and safety reasons.

When will my t-shirt and wrist band arrive?

We will post your t-shirts and wrist bands to the address you registered with two weeks prior to the event date. We will let you know when we’ve posted them out to you.
Is there food and drink available?

All supporters will be able to purchase food and drink in the event village, such as burgers, ice cream, cold and hot refreshments.

What shall I wear on the day?

Whilst you can walk, run, dance or toddle your way through the bubbles. We advise to wear appropriate footwear, such as trainers, to this event to ensure your safety when participating.
Are tickets available on the day?

This will depend on our capacity. We would advise supporters to book in advance to guarantee a ticket.

Why can't I register my children on their own ?

Children under the age of 16, must take part alongside a paying adult and be accompanied throughout the event.
is the course accssible for all?

Yes, the course is accessible for all. Please ensure you make yourself known to event staff at the start line (wheelchair only) and you will be able to leave first to ensure ease and space. Be mindful that if you take the pushchair through the bubbles they may mark or stain the pushchair fabric.
What do I do if my t-shirt and wristband don't arrive before Bubble Rush?

Please contact us the week before the event if you’re yet to receive them. We may suggest that they will be collected on the day if they’re unlikely to arrive to you on time.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You’re more than welcome to bring your own food and drink. We would suggest all supporters brining their own water to stay hydrated.

Is there a bag drop?

A bag drop is available at the Event Village for £1 per item and will be manned by a member of the team. Please note: All items are left at the owner's risk. Demelza cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged belongings. 

Can I stay after i've taken part?

Of course, please make the most of our event village.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Dogs are not permitted. For the safety of all our supporters, we cannot allow any animals on the course, and for hygiene reasons they must not go into the bubbles.
