I'm taking on Miles in May for Demelza

This May, I’m incredibly proud to be taking part in Demelza’s Miles in May Challenge alongside an amazing team, raising funds for a charity that truly makes a difference. ❤️

Demelza provides extraordinary care to extraordinary children facing serious or life-limiting conditions across Kent, South East London, and East Sussex. They offer expert clinical, emotional, and practical support to children and their families from diagnosis for as long as they are needed — bringing comfort, guidance, joy, and precious memories during some of life’s most challenging moments.

I think Demelza is an absolutely amazing charity, and being able to play even a small part in supporting the life-changing work they do is such a beautiful opportunity for me to help make a real difference.

I’m so grateful for all the kindness, encouragement, and support that I’ve received so far for both myself and my team. Your generosity means so much, and every bit of support helps us get closer to making a positive impact for these incredible families.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we really can make a difference. 💙

Weekend training week 2

Monday 11th May
Not only do my weekends include the doggos, but also my pony, Tinkerbelle! we have a rota of yard sweeping, and this weekend, it was my turn. So Saturday I clocked up 6 miles this was made up of dog walking, yard sweeping and field clearing. and Sunday included 8 miles (although 2 of those were on horseback, so don't really count!) and this was dog walking and field clearing! Ill be out in town on Tuesday clocking up some miles between appointments and Ill get a short dog walk in on Wednesday before the big walk on Thursday!

Weekend Training

Wednesday 6th May

Weekends with these two usually mean a good walk—but I’m starting to think they’re getting suspicious of my motives now!

We’ve clocked up 9 miles over the long weekend: 1.5 miles on Friday through Bayhurst Woods, 2.5 miles on Saturday in Old Park Woods where the last of the bluebells were fading, and another 2.5 miles on Sunday across farmland through the lovely village of Harefield. We finished with 2.5 miles on Monday around HOAC, where HS2 is being built—though it did give me a great photo opportunity of my two little lunatics under the HS2 bridge.
