Were here for them and their families with expert clinical, emotional and practical support at every step from first diagnosis and for as long as were needed.When they need us most, well be there; to reassure, to guide and to care. By their side when they feel isolated, helping to create joy in family life during challenging times and making precious memories.

Every step has a purpose
Friday 11th SepI will be taking on a challenge that I never thought I’d be doing — running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
I’m a Healthcare Assistant at Demelza, so caring for children and supporting them through some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments in their lives is something very close to my heart. But Demelza does something incredibly special. They provide care, comfort, support and precious memories for children with serious or life-limiting conditions, while also supporting their families through what can be an unimaginably difficult journey.
That’s why I wanted to challenge myself and raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
I’m not going to pretend that running 13.1 miles is going to be easy! 😂 There will probably be moments when my legs are screaming at me to stop, but I’ll remind myself why I started.
Every mile, every tired step and every moment when I want to give up will be for the children and families who rely on the incredible work Demelza does.
Your generosity means so much to me, but more importantly, it means something to the children and families that Demelza supports. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps provide care, support and precious moments when they matter most.
I honestly can’t thank you enough for supporting my challenge and helping me raise as much as I can.
