Cycle ride POSTPONEMENT
Wednesday 29th Jul To my dear friend and family, who have supported me so generously.I'm sorry to update you that it's necessary for me to postpone completing this cycle ride!
Some weeks ago, my partner in crime (or cycling, at least), Katherine Browne, fell over and dislocated her elbow. It's been re-set and Katherine has been making good progress, but has been strongly advised not to attempt this ride until she is fully recovered.
While I'm excited to do the ride, I am only doing it because Katherine asked me - and we are jointly supported by her employer! So, it makes sense for us both to postpone and - we hope - agree a Spring 2027 date to complete the ride.
