Inspiration behind the Thumbs Up Raffle
Our raffle is named in memory of Joshua, an incredible young boy who loved riding his bike, going to scouts and listening to rock music. He was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of cancer, and in June 2024 he sadly died just four days before his 13th birthday. Joshua had 14 rounds of chemotherapy, a six-hour surgery, radiotherapy and multiple infections. But no matter what, Joshua always smiled and gave his trademark thumbs up.
