Celebrating 25 years of friendship by taking on the London Marathon weekend together in support of Demelza

Friends since 2002, Pete and I have shared countless adventures together over the years. More recently, running has become one of them, taking us on countless training miles, memorable races and, ultimately, to our shared dream of running the London Marathon.

In 2027, as we celebrate 25 years of friendship, we're proud to be taking on the London Marathon weekend in support of Demelza, a fantastic local charity that provides extraordinary care to children with serious or life-limiting conditions, while offering invaluable support to their families across Kent, South East London and East Sussex.

As The Whitwaders (Pete from Whitstable and Lindsey from Iwade!), we'll be sharing our training, organising fundraising events and doing everything we can to raise as much as possible for this incredible charity.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Demelza continue to be there for local children and families when they need them most.

Thank you for supporting The Whitwaders Run London

Good luck Lindsey, not that you need it. Going to have to be Take That with Never Forget and my inability to get the arm coordination for the clappy bit (Regardless of how much you tried to teach me) Lol and Darude Sandstorm because once we had heard this on student night we could then go home LOL
