Were here for them and their families with expert clinical, emotional and practical support at every step from first diagnosis and for as long as were needed.

When they need us most, well be there; to reassure, to guide and to care. By their side when they feel isolated, helping to create joy in family life during challenging times and making precious memories.

Demelza holds a very special place in my heart. A place I never expected to have to visit in my life but I am so grateful that I had the opportunity. We had talked before about palliative care nurses, especially for children and at the time, I could not think of anything worse to do as a job. Even after my first visit, I understood it. The care and compassion they showed, the memories that were made and the support they offered after Kane passed, I realised exactly why they choose to do that job. You can't escape the horrible parts of life but being able to do things to lighten the pressure, make memories and make sure that their last moments are peaceful and beautiful is something that I will forever be in awe of. I will always be grateful to Demelza for looking after Kane, Kel, Craig & Harley xxx
